You can start killing as fast as your 2nd turn, but you do have to get a bit lucky sometimes. Generally most decks run only 1 carry. Pikachu decks can sometimes carry with Zapdos but Pikachu EX is the main carry and Raichu can also burst, which is what makes the deck strong.
