Both movies are quality but I still prefer the first one. The original disc version that has the "Badder Santa" version is just absolutely fucking hilarious.

But part 2 was solid and Kathy Bates is like the perfect person to play his mom. Great movies. Billy Bob Thornton plays an absolutely excellent apathetic drunk. I like him in general in many things but he just pulls off that role so good. It is pretty much my favorite Christmas movie since it caters to my darker humor.

I was hoping he would lean into that type of drunk performance in his Amazon series Goliath which was pretty awesome the first season.

Its definitely up there in the top 5 of my favorite Christmas movies, So quotable from start to finish.
