Along the coastlines, this barrier is about 5km away from the shore. No living creature can pass through this barrier. Non-living material can pass through the barrier only if it does so naturally (not due to humans intentionally causing it to). The money is untaxed Canada dollars, direct to your bank account, converted to your local currency (at pre-barrier conversion rates). Any person who is straddling the border at the time you take the deal will be suddenly pushed towards one side or the other at random.
