Capcom about to start their legendary hero arc if they actually go through with this.

There was the golden age era. (from the 80s arcades and video game console development up to the 6th console generation with the occasional pinky toe stump on the dresser (mega man X7, dino crisis 3, final fantasy streetwise like stumbles).

There was the dark ages. (7th console generation keji inafune-lead "oh noes, western devs are too good and is better than us in everyway!).

The rising of the hero arc. (The devil may cry 5s, the resident evil 7s, the mega man 11s, the monster hunter worldses).

Its time capcom......you bring back breath of fire and I pledge my loyalty and my money to you.

While Onimusha being "back" is nice, the TGA trailer looked like something that plays like Nioh rather than the Onimusha I know and love.

Tbh, I don't much about continues old franchises as much as the potential console ports that might come with it.

Viewtiful Joe on modern hardware would be a dream come true.

To be honest they have to do something to spice it up as the same kind of gameplay from 20 years ago probably wouldn't cut it these days. It was either gonna probably be something like a Sekiro/Nioh or a DMC style thing, and I think the former makes more sense.

And yes please, another goddamn Viewtiful Joe game before anything else.

Dino Crisis is almost a given. For those that don't know, Capcom did this huge global survey in the summer asking a ton of questions and Dino Crisis got the most votes for the question of which franchise most deserves a sequel.
