Im sure most know, but Ive lived in Japan for a while.

Anyway, first thing i notice when I get off the international flight, is everyone is very loud, and very rude. Staff are extremely impersonal, and unprofessional.

Second worse thing is that the toilets arent heated and there is no bidet. I forgot how I ever lived before that.

Third, why is a taco from Taco Bell now almost 3.00?

This is a comfort that Americans should make a priority.

Thats the same experience I got coming back from Guatemala and being there all of two seconds in the American terminals lol.

I literally said damn.

Non heated toilet seats there in Guate though. Cheap af for all the food. Very humbling people but they are extremely honest about their grace that they extend unto you.

Japan seems.. very coy.. about living and experiencing >_>

Still excited for the day I go there though, even if it is just to visit

No joke I worked with a guy for like 24 years that used to truck for a few years back in the day and he would talk about how bad that would make you feel. Like he would be driving for like 12 hours and hit a truck stop and go running into the bathroom and sit down and the seat was all warm and he was just thinking about the previous guy sitting there absolutely unloading his bowels and like in the summer some of the seats would have seat on them and you would have to wipe them down.

That conversation has lived in my head for years.

But then the cleanliness is the opposite of a bidet.

I suppose you're used to the fact that when you go into any store in Japan, all the staff immediately stop whatever they're doing to yell at you.

I'm sure they're saying a very polite greeting but it's still weird and gives you a surprise the first few times.

Yeah I really miss all that stuff from when I went to Japan. People not blasting music from unnecessarily loud cars or Face Timing on the bus. Public restrooms being clean with wonderful amenities. If they put in nice toilets in the states some jerkwad is gonna break the toilets with a bat just because he can. Or someone is gonna invent the bathroom breaking challenge on TikTok <_<

And I really miss the tacos being just a little over a buck :<

Lol you should go on a staff training day.

They line the entire staff up around the store and they all chant and say things in unison (or individually) and it is very creepy

Tace Bell has inflated by far the most in the industry that has in turn inflated by far the most, in an economy that has in turn inflated really intensely in the last couple of years.

It went from being the cheapest place to the most expensive.
