I have a fond memory of liking it as a kid, but I honestly haven't watched it since the very early 90s so I remember next to nothing about it plot-wise.

I do not. I'm assuming you are talking about the 1982 version. Never bothered with the newer one. Just not my thing.

But as for Tron, I've seen it, and I like it. I also enjoyed Legacy. But I'm probably not going to watch the next one, given that it stars Jared "Island Sex Cult" Leto.

Not really. The visuals are pretty much the entire appeal. Now, they are outrageously good visuals, and I recommend everyone watch it (and the sequel) for that reason, but once you get past that and the novelty of the world, it's one of the most boring stories I've ever seen in the whole medium.

Love it. Saw the original theatrical release as a 4th grader and went as Tron for Halloween. ...end of line.

I personally love it. The effects were groundbreaking at the time. People always say it's short on story, but I think those people are being a little harsh. (It has as much story as any one of these super hero movies of today)

I have so many memories with playing all the Tron games in the arcade. I was lousy at them, but they looked so cool I couldn't help myself and I'd always waste a couple of quarters. Then there's the small but kick ass action figures and light cycles I had as a kid. I remember pulling the light cycles cords and letting them rip on my kitchens linoleum floor. Too much fun.

The CGI was pretty good for 1982, but I liked the backlit effects on the costumes better.

It took a few years to grow on me, but it's a fun movie.

I like it but mostly for the visuals and the interesting world it presents. The story isn't all that great.

I don't think I've actually seen the movie in its entirety, and even if I did it was back in the late 80's or early 90's when I was still a child. I guess it was neat to look at but I probably wouldn't have been able to follow the story.

Its good! I feel like it was more of a you had to be there movie to really appreciate it, but I still enjoy watching it from time to time.

Although I think a lot of that has to do with me loving the Space Paranoids part of Kingdom Hearts II.

I dig the sequel also.
