Homophobia isn't something exclusive to Muslim communities.

The closest thing to "math" I've seen suggests that the reason Trump won is because of racism, sexism, and homophobia and you can find those things in people everywhere. Pointing out that some Muslim leaders are homophobic is just unfairly biasing the blame as if there weren't 10 homophobic Protestant preachers for every one homophobic imam.

Here, I'll put it bluntly, the only thing any dem/progressive/minority should have been doing, at all, from the point that Kamala was chosen to run as president, was propping her up. There should have been zero bad mouthing, as that could drive away skittish voters. There were only two outcomes, and Trump was ALWAYS going to be the worst one for any cause that Dems/minority/progressives cared about.
Once she was in office, then you could air your grievances.
