People are indeed that shallow and game developers would be foolish not to create attractive characters who are both externally and internally appealing. Sure, some games like Undertale have been able to do just fine without adhering to beauty standards, but not every game developer offers good writing, fun game mechanics, memorable music compositions. First thing first: Marvel is literally woke as hell. They have Powerful minorities and women. Stand Lee even in the 70s were like stop being racist assholes. But gaming as a whole as someone who doesn't like all the super sexist out fit that are seen on some character just because they are so impractical. I do feel like they have made female characters not a pretty as they use to be. Even using super pretty models they make the characters ugly. However, a number of feminist players find the abundance of sexy characters and lack of diverse body types outright disappointing. That being said, even they can't deny that the character designs are indeed appealing and not as lackluster as those made by US gaming companies. Plus, there's also some discussion concerning the Invisible Woman's Malice skin compared to the original material source.
