Celsius or Fahrenheit?

The wind chill here was -15F (-26C) this morning. It was 55F (13C) on Friday.

Just be thankful it isn't like last January where we had daytime highs in the -40s, lows around -50, and wind chills around -60. Hopefully that was a once in a lifetime event.

It's still above zero here (-14 C or so) but it will drop a lot more before morning.

It's cold here (low 20's F) but...amazingly it has not snowed and there is no snow currently scheduled through next wed (of course it's been wrong before). Just gotta get through another 3-4 weeks....and i'll be safe. Even if I DO get snowed in this year, it'll probably only be for a few weeks at least, so....best year yet.

It's been colder in the past, but not much, but I have had snow and been snowed in every year since moving out to this island. I ALMOST moved last summer to avoid another winter but was too lazy. If I make it without snow I will be really happy I didn't move to avoid it lol. I don't think I can rent anywhere at this point for as little as I am paying (although I would really love to be in a city and have access to places to eat, swim, people etc).

I gotta move some year, but.....would have been silly to move right before the first year without snow lol.

Netherlands hovers around 0 C right now, not so bad in terms of temperature, but slipperiness is a risk at this temperature and an unfunny one if you cannot necessarily get up from a fall without something to push yourself up against. Minimizing time outside my apartment where I can crawl to something suitable as necessary.
