It got the vibe right, the production was Trigger at some of their best and it didn't overstay its welcome. Also really redeemed the franchise in general after 2077, along with ~~Adam Smasher who did~~ better in 10 minutes than in the entire game. --- Fan of metal? Don't mind covers? FYI Netflix has confirmed that a new Cyberpunk anime is in the works but that it would be a totally new story with totally new characters in a collab with CDPR, so we don't have to worry about them retroactively ruining anyone from Edgerunners in a sequel.
