Working the 6 hour day today. Less than 2 hours left. I'm a phone interviewer collecting people's political opinions. $15.15 and hour.

I had never worked an 11 hour shift like that before, so I'm lowkey proud of myself. Dreading tomorrow, but it will be done one way or another. I'm just grateful I have work, haven't had any since the elections ended since no one wants to do political research.

I leave for work in about 40 minutes. Normal 8 hour work shift on 2nd shift. My normal days off are Monday and Tuesday. Ive worked weekends my entire life. Worked them part time as a teenager in high school. Was in the military post high school for almost 5 years and often worked weekends. Been at this job the last 26 years and always worked weekends. Its just normal to me.

I actually prefer my Mondays and Tuesdays off. Its nice running errands on a Monday late morning with very few people at the grocery store.
