for insanity >_> Not killing people in Roller Coaster Tycoon is textbook psychosis. Read any psych textbook and look through the index. It'll be there.

like making Shuttle Loops with the speed too high, or making a slope too big on a rollercoaster so that 2 cars collide and they explode, or setting the Tower Drop speed so high where the ride shoots off the rails, or simply just picking people up who gave you a bad review and throwing them in some water. It was the best lol

Everyone I know did some of that at least. Along with other stuff like blocking people inside the park once they meet the population quota and trapping them there forever. Or picking up people and putting them in pits with just a bathroom, but the bathroom costs $5 to use lol

What a great game >_>

My favourite method was to design a water slide pointing directly out to sea with the largest downward slope the game would allow followed by a small bunny hop then a 180 turn back towards the station.

I never built a custom roller coaster. I only used the premade ones. And I never tried to kill anyone lmao. I actually wanted my park to prosper and to be super clean. I hired so many janitors because everyone was puking everywhere.

Don't like it? Don't watch it. It's that simple

lmao nice

A simple one I loved was building a bridge across a body of water, then deleting the bridge when enough people were on it and seeing them all fall down into the water at once

Rollercoaster Tycoon also got me into the mentality of a businessman.

It told me how much money guests had to spend and on one it ranged from 60-80. So I set the entry price to 60, made everything cost money (including the toilets), and watched as guests paid everything they had to enter, wandered around for a while unable to do anything, then left.

It felt strange but I didn't care because now I had all of their money.

I've never killed anyone in Rollercoaster Tycoon. But I've also never played Rollercoaster Tycoon.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

Half the fun of RCT was thinking of creative ways to mess with the npcs. When your park met the quota but you still have 5 months left on the timer, you gotta keep yourself entertained somehow >_>

Each time I play RCT2, there's a Roman-themed prebuilt ride that always ends up killing everyone as it careens off the rails. Rarely get critical failures like that on anything else, just that one deathtrap.

I had the PS2 knockoff:

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps2/370574-theme-park-roller-coaster

It was a pretty bad game, but I managed to have fun with it anyway, lol. I liked to set the arcade games at $200 to play with a $195 prize that you pretty much always win, so most everyone was happy, but every now and then you'd see somebody come out with a >:( face and beeline it straight to the front gate. I actually made a lot of money that way, lol.
