I can see it: a jilted rich White man gets upset because the [White] woman he was crushing on chose a Black man over him. He raises a fuss, it's signal-boosted by Elon Musk and others, and eventually it starts reaching the lawmakers and courts.

Yeah, there's currently no laws banning interracial marriage/miscegenation on the books as they were all struck down, but since the GOP is intent in dismantling the last 100+ years of progress, we all know it'll be on the chopping block at some point.

And if it does happen, I also expect them to make an exception so that White men can marry any woman they want regardless of her race, but everyone else will have to stick with their own.

Didn't SCOTUS member who is black and in an interracial marriage come out saying he was against it and wanted to make it illegal?
Edit: thought he did maybe he simply said nothing about it while advocating for precedence that could be used against it

They're going after the LGBTQ+ community first.

Then they'll go after interracial marriage.
