Once certain comments and behaviors are no longer deal breakers for "the right" they by default are the hostile ones and we're simply responding to the hostile behavior.

Examples such as 1/6 and now those pardons
Giving Trump a pass for sexual assault (judge clarified his actions were dictionary definition of rape)
Being a convicted felon
My previous pet eating example
And now the tariffs which have the potential to significantly harm millions of households in the US
