genuinely too many to count the things i like i like for very specific reasons that i generally shouldn't have a preference for but nonetheless do one general sticking point for me is definitely presentation, in the sense that i NEED many games to have excessive menu ui in various particular forms. also arguably more petty things like shmups specifically needing to not only generally be vertical, but with an arcade aesthetic (with sidebars) ...
