Starks posted... I'm still skeptical this gets to the second phase without chunks of the Israeli government dissolving. Hamas made one of the hostages hold an hourglass above a bag containing the picture of one of the remaining hostages before they let him go.They made a guy from the last batch say on camera that he can't wait to get home to his wife and daughter, which Hamas knew was dead because they killed both of them right after taking him. That was part of the same batch where the hostages were escorted through a crowd that screamed at them even as their van pulled away. There are over 20 thousand Palestinians in Israeli jails, over half of which were arrested after October 7th, and many thousands of them haven't even been tried. This current exchange will only free 3000 though. As for the Hamas hostages, 70 remain and 35 of them are dead. Starks posted...
