What's astonishing is that these aren't even moonlets or small things that influence the ring system. They're proper moons in diameter.

I wonder if we need to adjust the definition of a moon a bit more. Maybe you get up the diameter but you still have to deal with whether things are actually in hydrostatic equilibrium.

Definition of "moon":

Past: That big thing in the sky at night
Present: *insert highly technical/scientific criteria here*
Near future: *picture of a chalkboard that is almost entirely scratched out*
Future: Screw it. That big thing in the sky at night.

I don't know the term "trojan" in regards to astronomy so i'm not gonna argue that

But first Google result got
https://youtu.be/470h2ttcbzE?si=ZiCz1w8z9CYxr0vi

It didn't get a stable orbit, so it was just another asteroid getting close enough to have its trajectory altered by our gravity
That does not a moon or even "natural satellite" make

I heard that our moon is actually fairly remarkable. I dont remember the reasons, but I think its rare for a planet to experience total solar eclipses.

I reckon it should only count as a moon if it's big enough to be spherical. Otherwise it's just a floating rock.
