I love the nicknames the locals have for Action Park by the way, stuff like Traction Park (due to a lot of injuries sustained by park goers requiring them to be placed into traction AKA immobilized in a hospital bed) and Class Action Park (due to how many lawsuits were being filed against it on a regular basis).

Did you know that the park had to buy the local emergency services several shiny new ambulances solely because they were the main contributor to the sheer workload being placed on the paramedics?
I was only aware that they used to have a couple medical staff in the park or something like that. People really did injured there often

Yeah, theres several documentaries about it on YouTube ranging from Defunctland to Fascinating Horror that go into varying details about how unsafe Action Park was.

Defunctland in particular explained all the different areas of the park and how dangerous they were before he even got to the more disturbing information surrounding the people who died at the park.

Do they have any idea what happens when you try to make a kid do something they don't want to do? At best they just don't do it, worst case scenario is they actively sabotage the whole thing.

Theres a lot of kids that would rather earn cash now than study for school. Others would rather study for school cause they do have an eye on long term success but theyre forced to work cause programs their family relies on were cut. In both scenarios, as Trump said, he loves the poorly educated.

Florida is gonna become the new Action Park...
A theme park that used to let kids work, many got drunk off the job due to it being easily accessible to them and in turn they neglected many safety protocols... people got injured or died from said negligence.

That state is gonna be looming with Class Action lawsuits!

Like they're going to do this without "tort reform" aka banning lawsuits by the poors.

Gas powered lawn equipment sounds great for children.

I used a gas powered lawn mower as a teenager and always felt like shit afterwards.
Now that I use an electric mower, I feel fine afterwards.

That's possibly the only way to make that ride worse.

I'm sure the noble republican leadership will offer their kids to be first in line to work the graveyard shift in the mine.

Oh, what do you mean their kids will be in comfy private schools?

You mean, they're just taking about sending poor kids to the mines?

I am shocked.

I dunno, Drizzt. I heard a story on YouTube from Chills of all people about a physically handicapped man who was wheelchair bound and thus couldnt exit from the ride on his own getting stuck on said ride for almost an hour or two due to the ride breaking down and everybody else except him for obvious reasons egressing via the emergency catwalks along the track.

Whats worse is that the ride operators couldnt shut off the music to the ride, so he was effectively getting an unintended CIA torture session by being forced to sit there and listen to Its A Small World for the entire time he was stuck there.

I think Disney ultimately paid him for the torment they put him through, though how much I cant remember.

Looks like he got his talking points from Susan Collins.

Florida is a pretty red legislature. It would take a significant amount of Rs to vote this down.
Senate - 28/11
House- 86/33
