I heard Suikoden also does 5 but I'm just not interested in collecting party members, pokemon kinda ruined it for me for all games. Chrono cross is so much worse though, it's the lame 3 party member thing while having something like 40 stupid characters for you to choose from. On any given playthrough, you will have no more than four potential companions. So you always have to ditch one person unless you mod the party limit.
