Even when you look at who is in the DOJ now and that they're all for Trump, don't expect anything to happen. They can simply refuse to do anything about anything and it's okay.

There is so much red tape in congress that they could effectively clog the entire system in endless roll calls for bathroom breaks indefinitely if they so chose. Shit like the Republicans use to grind everything to a halt every time they're out of power. The dems are just a bunch if spineless worms more concerned about decorum than helping.

The reason that works for Republicans is because many Republicans want the government to shut down, while many Democrats want the government to work. So clogging things up as a Democrat while Trump runs their government via unlawful Executive Orders that will wind their way through the courts is not exactly the best move to make. Gumming things up is like music to Republican ears.

If Biden and Garland would have actually did something when they did have power we wouldn't be in this mess. That was the only chance and they blew it.

I do too. And this is the point of the propaganda machine the GOP has been running since the 80s. To create an alternative reality where facts dont matter, and so accountability for them is nonexistent. Now, after decades of Fox/Rush etc., all the GOP has to do is call something a hoax, and a huge amount of voters will believe it no matter what the actual facts are. No pushback from voters equals zero accountability for their actions, as the people who enable them will be elected again and again.

The GOP never faces accountability from its voters, or is held to any standard of conduct. Just as GOP slime always intended.

I just want the world to end since there is no accountability. They won and got away with everything.

They can indirectly. When Republicans were on the minority they would regularly kill bills or make the process so painful that Democrats would give up. I suspect that the many (if not most) Democrats are okay with whatever happens as long as they stay in office

That's not how the US government works.

Trump is doing stuff (illegally) through EOs, not Congress. Democrats literally can't do anything in the legislative sector to stop Trump.

His illegal EOs are already in the courts, which unfortunately I think I need to remind everyone is still in Trumps favor too given the Supreme Court leans conservative.

All you are doing is spreading misinformation that "Democrats have the power to stop Trump, and choosing not to. ThEy ArE oN hIs SiDe!!"

The only thing right now you can grasp at straws at is the one government shutdown that was on Congress, and on that you can only point at 10 Democrats. Not the entire party.
