While its going to have some people picking it up I think the popularity of the super fanservice gooner gacha games hurts it,

back when the last one came out it had the big thing over not coming to the west and lack of alternative ways to get the absurd levels of fanservice compared to today where you can your goon in from many various mobile games that are even less subtle and. Its fanservice driven

Apparently all but one are exclusive to the DOA Xtreme subseries and have never appeared in a fighting game. So it's a Dead or Alive dating sim featuring exactly none of the most recognizable Dead or Alive characters. Genius.
