Mario World is so concerned with secondary exits and whatnot that it splits focus and a LOT of those levels are really not very well designed. I would also argue that the plethora of power-ups in Mario 3 gives you far more variation in how you want to beat the levels. Sure you can play "optimally" and just rush through the level focusing on stars and tail, but if you wanna go slower with the Fire Flower and the Hammer Bros, you totally can. --- https://i.imgur.com/GWG5c3r.gif ...
