Most of these people never bring this stuff up from a place of compassion or genuine concern for Palestinians. It's for dumb internet gotcha points, along with being a transparent tactic to derail and shut down any discussion about the ongoing genocide and the politics surrounding and enabling it.

The vast majority of them will sit around doing precisely as much as they accuse the others of doing in regards to organising, protesting, or spreading awareness that is to say, "nothing". As they did before they spent their maximum effort of colouring in a bubble next to a name. As they will continue to do while frequenting online spaces to complain about protesters, or whoever, whenever Palestine is mentioned, regardless of context or atrocities being addressed. The people actually going out protesting genocides continue to do so at great risk to themselves while weirdos go around trolling on the internet. Pretty gross, tbh, and a tired joke at this point.

It's why these kinds of topics are best reserved for secure or local communities that are actually trying, where they won't be constantly hijacked by braying jackasses.

Yet again, we're not saying that Champions of Gaza were the main (or even the only) reason Harris lost.

But they absolutely contributed to Trump's win by muddying the waters for Trump, and some of them are clearly bad faith posters, because they claimed for months to care about Gaza, ran down Harris and Biden while making every excuse for Trump (still waiting for that snappy genocide nickname for Trump, btw) and in some cases voted for joke candidates as an asinine form of "protest". And then, after Trump won, they were right back here blaming the dems and downplaying their role, to the point that numerous accounts were booted off of CE permanently.

That's why we dog them out repeatedly, along with everyone else who failed the easiest open book political test in the history of our fucking country.

When we post "but she laughed" or "but genocide Joe" we're pointing out how fucking STUPID every one of those stances was and continues to be, because I don't know if you've noticed or not, but Kamala Harris was the only decent choice in that election, and Donald Trump is literally doing everything us Harris voters said he was going to do, namely dismantling the country and our democracy.
