You don't have to but I would at least wipe any grease off. Using aluminum foil makes it so all you have to do is pick up the foil and dump out any crumbs still left in the basket --- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://i.imgur.com/dQgC4kv.jpg ...
