I only have 2 weeks, but I accumulate more as I work. On the other hand I have about a month of paid sick time off.

None, part time job so no vacation days.

Im a teacher so I get a lot of built in time off but only 2 personal days a year plus a half dozen sick days

I am a stay at home mom so it doesnt apply. My husband doesnt accrue time - its take what you want & your boss is okay with.

We have a maximum balance of twice what you earn in a year. Since I earn 18 hours a month, 216 hours a year my max is 432 hours. I keep my balance just under max. So every month I HAVE to take 2 days off and every 4 months I need to take 3 days off just to keep under my max because of the extra 2 hours I go up every month even when taking two days off.

So I take a 3 day weekend the last two or three weeks of every month. I also have a "compensatory time" balance that we can keep 80 hours max in that. Any time you work overtime you can take it as comp time if you want so if you work an extra shift you earn 12 hours of comp time that can be taken any time you want instead of vacation. So you can decide to work crappy days in the winter or days in the middle of the week you don't care about but then schedule nice days off. One time in my youth I was off 16 weeks of comp time and never used a single day of vacation.

So currently I still need to take 2 days off this month and I will have 426 hours of vacation after I get credited with my 18 hours at the end of the month. My comp time is maxed at 80 hours. So at any given time I have 500 hours of time off I can take, not counting my sick leave which is separate, paid time off, and we get 18 days a year of that and there is no limit so you can just keep accruing it.

Lost count, in theory I could probably take off the entire summer and still have several weeks left.

But they would never approve that.

I get 15 per year and they dont roll over

but I do get unlimited sick days too

I have about 30 days accrued, give or take a few days.

About five weeks, I tend to end the year a little below the maximum carryover of 240 hours.

I think my EOY balance is something like 180 vacation hours and around 300+ sick hours.

But our sick time carries over and Ill probably burn a couple weeks of vacation this year.

Zero. My company does not provide any paid time off beyond what is legally required. The only way we get vacation is if the client has insisted on it and agreed to cover it. Needless to say, very few clients are willing to pay for their security team to feel appreciated and earn vacation time.

i earn like 1 week a year and i have 3 weeks saved up. our sick leave isn't capped and i *think* we get it paid into retirement? im a long way from retiring, i dont really know.

I get 4 weeks a year and they don't roll over... They do get paid out if you don't take them though...

My holidays are set. We dont get vacation days that we can use whenever we want.

I get 4 weeks, but I work a 2 week on, 2 week off rotation, so I only use them for special occasions.

I get 20 days at the start of each school year. And I can only carry over 40 days from one year to the next.

Right now I am at exactly 40 days of vacation. I had to take a week off so I would not lose anything when July hits

Damn, 4 weeks is pretty good

Since I took 3 days off this week, I have roughly 10 left, but I also get 1.5 every month totaling 19 a year not including paid holidays
