I remember loving Super Scribblenauts, but idk Scribblenauts Unlimited is kinda bland by comparison >_> Literally every single mission is just trivia asking what specific object would apply to this situation and simply spawning the object solves the puzzle. I can count on 1 hand the amount of times I was actually required to do something creative with the puzzles outside that. plus iirc, I remember you could make your own environments and missions in Super Scribblenauts, but Unlimited just has a set number of maps that cannot be altered at all, which sucks Is Scribblenauts Unmasked any better? --- https://imgur.com/u2HR4nG ... The action stages in the original could all be solved with handcuffs + (some open container), which is why all subsequent games were puzzles only. Also that game had an unobtainable achievement. You needed a score of 314 for the Pi achievement, but you could only get scores that were multiples of 10 (or maybe 100? I forget). --- https://i.imgur.com/lfI7zGE.jpg https://i.imgur.com/tgLNUuX.jpg Come to the (un)official GameFAQs Touhou board. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/1110- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I can't tell if Unlimited's level design is mediocre or if I was just young enough to really enjoy Super Scribblenauts and the novelty of summoning anythingEvery mission in Super had their own tailored level. But in Unlimited, they take place in the hub world, which I think is inferior. Plus there isnt that many real missions. Ryven posted... It couldnt have sucked that much if you decided to 100% it.Forgot to answer this lol. I wanted to see everything. It was okay, but it got pretty tedious because the missions are so monotonous because 95% are just "summon an object that fits this criteria, move onto the next step, repeat". It was rare that they asked you to get creative with getting from point A to point B or something. Probably cuz all the levels are big open hub worlds, so it's hard to make specialized missions there. Super just did it better --- https://imgur.com/u2HR4nG ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah. Forgot to add that while the action stages in the original were way too easy to cheese, the puzzle levels (both there and in Super) were a lot more engaging. You didn't just summon the thing it asked you to summon. You were presented with a unique problem and had come up with a solution, often requiring some combination of items. And even the simpler ones still had unique levels to set the stage, rather than just being some rando on the street in a hub world. --- https://i.imgur.com/lfI7zGE.jpg https://i.imgur.com/tgLNUuX.jpg Come to the (un)official GameFAQs Touhou board. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/1110- ... Unmasked is kinda mid >_> I'm not a DC fan so I have no fucking clue who any of these people are. The costume system is neat, but otherwise it has the same problems as Unlimited. Except you gotta grind a lot to unlock more levels instead of simply just collecting starites from puzzles. Plus there's even less puzzles and even less levels now. There's only like 10? Starites in the entire game, compared to 100s in all the other entries. And there's only like 10 levels compared to 40 in Unlimited. WTF is this --- https://imgur.com/u2HR4nG ... Copied to Clipboard!

I played Unlimited recently too. I also felt that most puzzles had one-word solutions, and was pretty disappointing compared to the DS titles. The prison break level was decent though. And the fun references, winks, and nods in general. --- Patient Gamer ... Copied to Clipboard!
