Just tuning in. Dudes on fire. Would be cool to see him get the career grand slam.

His eagle was fantastic. I'm not a hardcore golf fan but I do watch the majors and TPC every year and The Masters is by far my favorite event. Look forward to this every spring. Would be cool to see Rory get the career grand slam and also because he was really propped up to be the next big thing after Tiger and he is a great golfer but despite early major success he hasn't won a major in over a decade.

He has had some very close calls and meltdowns where he should have won but something went wrong. He seems like a pretty good dude. I like watching him and would like to see him get it. He has had some GREAT weekend results the past few years but the thing that has hurt him has been lackluster performances on Thursday and Friday that he made the cut but was basically out of contention.

This year felt like it could be different when he was in 3rd place and right there at the top after those first two days. We will see how it turns out.

Arch, you should watch the Full Swing documentary series on Netflix. It is pretty good focuses often on Rory and mostly the bigger events.

I would but don't have Netflix. I don't have any streaming services. I would enjoy that though.

He would have to have an epic meltdown to let Bryson win this. I think Rory has this. He made me wonder with that 1st hole and then the drive on the 2nd hole but he recovered and I really don't see him fucking up a 4 shot lead on the back 9.

I still remember Rory starting off his career so hot that they renamed the Tiger Wood PGA Tour video game into Rory McIlroy PGA Tour for a year... then Rory's career just fell off the face of the earth from there and he hasn't won a major since. Seeing him have a late redemption arc would be really cool.

Yep. Rose is done now with a score of -11, Rory tied with 3 holes to go.

Rory had a great chance for eagle on 15 that he missed and he had a real solid chance at birdie on 16. Even when he is getting par and a birdie he feels like he is choking. With that putt Rose closed out on 18 with it really feels like Rory is about to stumble on one of these last two holes and fuck this up.

Okay, it'll be a real travesty now if he chokes it way.

That approach on 17 was epic too. It is so close he can't fucking miss this putt.

What a great finish for the tournament.

I was there for the practice rounds Monday and Tuesday. That shot on 15 is wild. Its so far from the top of that hill and the green is so skinny.

Man what a tourney. If Rory can sink this birdie and finish par on 18..

Just needs a par. I can't imagine the pressure. If Rose hadn't made such a great putt on 18 he would be coasting in with a 2 shot lead. Still got pressure on him with 1.
