Also, here's a metric on CE/site activity since then. This screen cap was taken the morning before the CE closure happened (the last day of normal CE basically >_>), with 59 pages of topics (at 20 topics per page).

I feel like part of the reason they did this was because they thought deleting the Politics board would just make political topics magically go away instead of scattering everyone to another board (aka here). So now CE, the social board, had to be a casualty to cover their fuck up. Instead of just leaving politics open and giving it the private treatment like they did here instead, which would make way more sense.

it was actually a call, not just a text. and iirc i don't think anyone was ever able to determine who exactly it was, but given what was going on at the time, i am like 99% sure it was either him or one of his chudbuds

You are right. Didnt read the full OP you did say he hasnt been seen since the 500 topic. I guess he was only here because he was admin. You take that power away and he had no reason to be here anymore.
