It's because he's a eugenicist. He's the richest man on Earth so he must have the best genes on Earth and thus it's his duty to spread his good genes as far as possible to save humanity from being overwhelmed by the bad genes us poor people have.

Of course he's already seen his eldest kids turn out nothing like him so he's convinced the 'woke mind virus' made them that way so now he has to use all of his money to destroy the woke mind virus to make sure his good genes can do their job and save humanity.

There's a tiny kernel of truth in that the birth rates are falling in most developed nations, with places like Japan and South Korea looking particularly bad. The biggest issue is that the population is aging. Some countries offset this through immigration, but that obviously requires said country to not be xenophobic.

No matter how rapey Musk is, a single man cannot offset that. The way to actually reverse that trend is to make it more attractive to have children. My generation and the zoomers struggle to afford even a single child, let alone more than double that. Musk actually could help with that if he bribed politicians to adopt heh pro family policies, but that would mean that profits would go down for the owner class, as well as "inferior" people (in Musk's eyes) passing on their genes.

I'd like to think I wouldn't become one of those people if I happened to come across a lot of money, but fame and money does seem to change a lot of people.

I think there are some genuinely good people out there who happen to be well off, but it's rare. I know Markiplier makes a ton from his YouTube stuff but from what I've heard he doesn't want all that money and routinely gives a lot of it away either through charity or friends and family.

I mean I think a lot of the issue is that these rich weirdos never lived normal (or at least healthy) lives to begin with. Elon definitely did not grow up how I'd imagine 99% of people on CE, and anyone said 99% of people in CE knows in real life, did.
