It's pretty nuts that literally one of the pioneers of dating sims and a culturally important milestone in complex social systems in games just never made it here. The only way to play it in English at the moment is the shitty SNES version that got translated. But it's missing so much compared to the PS1/Saturn versions such as voice acting, more events, and more. Tim Rogers described playing the SNES version as "like watching a movie for the 1st time muted with subtitles on". Seriously, why doesn't Konami just throw this over here, especially with that Switch remaster that is about to drop? They dont have to rerecord voice lines in English or anything. A ton of modern games definitely owe to the innovations from this mid-90s PC Engine game and it's kinda wild we never got this in modern times. My favorite was Yuko (although Yuina, Yumi, and Nozomi were all very cool too) but yeah, it's a shame we never got the mainline TokiMemo games It would be god-tier if a TokiMemo Legacy Collection with all 4 mainline games translated in English came out --- Not changing this part until Saki Amamiya (or Isa Jo) get into Smash as a playable character Now watching: GGS Dual Rulers, Witch Watch ... Yeah that video review is pretty legendary at this point. It's one the IP Konami revived and gets Switch remaster alongside Suikoden, MGS, Castlevania, SH, etc. But even with that, Konami still refuse to localize it. It's really just stupid at this point.
