I know that there's already a topic on the board but they weren't really discussing the episodes so I just wanted to make a separate one for that purpose.

Anyway I'm glad that loser finally got what he deserved. Just no self awareness at all. Obviously Penn Badgley does a great job of acting but I really enjoyed Anna Camp's performance as well. I also liked Kate a LOT more as a character this season than the previous season. '

I think the two biggest misses as far as "wow this is unbelievable storytelling" was the twin switch up in episode 2 and Joe somehow knowing to sew a fucking key into his arm. like damn did he bingewatch the saw series off screen or something? and I guess 3 is how the fuck Kate survived but I'm glad she did idgaf if it's not realistic none of this show is kind of

Other than those I thought it was a really solid season and potentially my favorite overall. Just really entertaining from start to finish and felt a lot neater and more "on brand" than season 4 (which, admittedly, I liked a lot more on rewatch). As far as loose ends go I was a little disappointed that neither Delilah nor Ellie were mentioned at all. Even Karen from season 1 got a little shout out

Lastly I think my favorite line of dialogue in the whole series is "the fantasy of men like you is how we deal with the reality of men like you" holy FUCK she got his ass with that one
