She had been sick for a long time so it wasnt a surprise. Death is just kind of wild to think about.

About a year into my current job, a coworker of mine had passed from cancer. I wasn't really close with her, but I did have work with her on a few things (I'm IT). I'm not sure how old she was. I would think 40s or 50s.

Yeah I confronted the concept of death a lot after my dad died. Like people say someone's "gone" when they die but they're not really their body and everything is still there and perfectly whole (usually) but whatever made them them no longer exists and we can't bring it back.
