Yes, and on occasion. If there's a particularly sappy convo going on it tends to end with someone saying ya'll are my family and love you guys and stuff like that.

Then people make fun of them and we all chuckle and move about our lives.

My closest friend hits me with an "I love you" pretty much every time we end a call and say bye

I felt kinda felt weird about it at first but it's down right adorable and I've grown to appreciate him for it

Well, I can identify when they look bad. I tend to associate conventional stylishness negatively, though. It's just not something I've ever prioritized. Maybe subconsciously it's jealousy or something, Iunno.

Q1: Yep, no problem. Like Idris Elba is a good looking dude and I have no problem admitting that.

Q2: Also yep. I tell my best friend "love you bro" all the time (all completely sober). I've known that dude for 24 years and he always has my back if I need it and vice versa.

I won't fault anyone who doesn't do those things, but the guys who get really upset by it are definitely insecure. You don't have to do it, but getting upset by it is something else lol

I had a good friend who was one of those mythical 10/10s. Like constant double takes, if you said his name people started looking around for him types.

I have no problem saying he's an incredibly attractive guy. And I also tell the homies that I love them. Somebody has to at this point.

For me, I absolutely got fucked up with my two best friends during our teen years, but weve all three grown since then and maintained healthy friendships while cutting off others in our circle that couldnt.

Weve gotten each other through very difficult times. An ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, etc.

Its not as common with other people, but if you have someone like that you should maintain contact.
