God, that freaked me the fuck out as a kid.

Honestly, I think it's my favorite. It's so out there and unique.

I wish the third film would have tried something new as well instead of overcorrecting because of all the criticisms Temple got.

I've never actually seen it. Loved raiders and last crusade though.

It's my favorite also. So many things about it scared me as a kid, especially the human sacrifice scene.

It's my favorite. Willie and Short Round never bothered me. I like Willie because she's such a contrast to Marion. Plus anybody would be screaming if they were experiencing all that crazy stuff. It's the unique one of the trilogy.

It absolutely floors me when people say they liked Crystal Skull more than Temple. I get it, opinions and such, but thats like a night and day comparison IMO

Yes I do. It hasn't aged well in some ways, but I loved it as a kid and still enjoy it today.

The other two are better, but that's because the other two are ridiculously good. It's still an enjoyable film.

I think the opening (in Shanghai) might just be my favorite scene in trilogy. And it's got lots of other iconic scenes as highlights, like the descending ceiling trap or the minecarts.

The main problem, I guess, is that the sidekick characters are kind of annoying and the physics are at probably their cartooniest here.

I wasn't a fan until I rewatched it recently and now I honestly think it's better than Last Crusade, but not as good as Raiders.

Never got the dislike. It's just super fun. A little less serious than the others but it hits all the same beats and never drags. And it has some of the most iconic moments of the franchise.

My first Indy movie. It may be the worst of the original trilogy but that's still a fun as hell movie. Of course being my first I'm unfairly biased to it.

Of the four Indiana Jones movies I've seen (I haven't watched Dial of Destiny yet), Temple of Doom is the only one that I can actually say I dislike (although there are parts of it that I enjoy, such as the minecart chase and Mola Ram ripping the heart out of some poor bastard's chest). Crystal Skull is at least okay in my book (which means it certainly doesn't hold a candle to how much I adore Raiders and especially Last Crusade), but it's still a movie I'd be more willing to rewatch from start-to-finish than Temple of Doom.

I like all the IJ movies.

I watched it recently for the first time since being about 14.

It's horribly editted. Pacing is awful.

It seems like it was made out of another version (or two) of the film which was actually shot. Seems like a Frankenstein.

Yes, my #2 Indy - though I do give Temple, Kingdom, & Crusade each a worthy B+
Ford is at his physical peak in Temple, & it still feels the most Indiana Jones'ish of them all - there's fewer guardrails for the characters, & more peril.

Dial is a D+ from me, shouldn't have been even considered.

It's the worst of the trilogy but it's still enjoyable.

Its the best Indiana Jones film.
