Question: Trump has been pressuring American companies to cut their diversity policies. Has Nintendo changed anything?

Bowser: We always want to attract the best talent we can and retain that talent. We also believe that it's important for those talents to be diverse from the point of view of their backgrounds, their experiences, and their understandings because our players are diverse. So we strive to have a diversity that reflects our players in our organization. This is something that has been in place for years, before people really started using the acronym DEI [diversity, equity and inclusion]. And it will continue to be in place. It's important to us.

This is what I hate about the term DEI. Nobody except racists will have a problem with what he said, but give it a name and all of a sudden it becomes a boogeyman.

Its literally Obamacare VS affordable care act all over again.

Ok. Pokemon designs have changed and/or gone downhill because of different artists contributing to design.

RSE was when it first happened but I still liked the art. Internet memed the BW designs but they were cool too. 3DS era onward has been terrible though.

Donnies not granting the Switch 2 an exemption from his stupid tariffs then, Im guessing. In a way Im glad since that keeps Ninty from bending the knee to Donnies anti-DEI nonsense even if were going to have to pay more for it in the states.

Well when you think about it Bowser's army IS extremely diverse when it comes to species, incorporating a large percentage of the species in the Mario universe and allying with their leaders. He also has no qualms with offering the Mario brothers and Peach to join him and considers them part of his army whenever he needs to team up with them.

Indeed. I learned recently the director of the game that was the primary factor of launching the Switch 1 to its current height, Animal Crossing, is a woman.

I think the recent Pokemon designs have been fine. It's the gameplay that has gotten worse and those seem to be attributed to its old guard like Masuda.
