Youve had over like 6 diff ones in your life right? Recycled?

I usually use as a separate MP3 player. Any of you those cell phones for cash machines at Walmarts

Put them in a drawer so that I can think, 'oh, I should recycle those' every 6 months.

Put them in a drawer so that I can think, 'I'll retrieve the pictures off this 1 day.

I'm keeping them around, a friend of mine recently decided he needed to replace his phone and I tried to offer to send him one of mine but he wouldn't take it

I stick 'em where the sun don't shine.

Which is in a box in my storage closet.

they dont give you shit but it's a fast way to get rid of them

Currently using mine to stream shows. It connects to the Chromecast

My last phone was stolen. The other ones were disposed of by the cellular provider.

Hammer time and throw out the remnants.

I use mine as an mp3, podcast player and other way to browse the web.

One of them ended up going to my cousin.

One was trashed because I only upgraded when it was bricked.

2 were traded in to get discounts on my next phone.

And 1 I have in my desk drawer just in case.

I still use my old phones for music, games and internet browsing. My threw away my broken phones.

I cash them in at the kiosk if they're in good enough shape. Otherwise my work has a collection box for recycling them.

My mom gets my phone when i upgrade.

So far (as in since 2016) the whole "2 year payment plan" has been working swimmingly and i dont see a reason to quit.

LG Optimus M (Android 2.2.1, doesn't work anymore, battery doesn't hold a charge anymore.)
LG Volt (Android 4.4.2, currently use it as an alarm clock, battery holds a charge for about 25 days.)
LG Q7+ (Android 9, rarely use it for Firefox browsing, battery holds a charge for about 10-15 days.)

Oh those green phone machines at Walmart ? How do they work, never have tried to use one.

My last phone is one of my two alarm clocks (alongside my old DS).

The rest of the old phones are put away in a box in the closet.

I honestly lost (yes as in wtf did it go or did someone steal it?) a few of my phones plus a cheap mp3 player (forgot the name of the brand) that burned out in a few days then just poof. G0ne

i seriously no clue as to where they are located as of now.

anywho I just slip them in our local electronics recycling center when they are of no real value anymore (as in running, powered w/etc) or give it to somebody that actually wants it (battery life at about 30-45%)

The corps steal your data from your old phones if you hand them over - ID, credit cards, online accounts. Whatever you put in there. Your life is gone forever.

"Well I formatted it!" That's like saying you deleted Facebook. It's actually always there.

"Well I smashed it up and drilled holes in it!" They have the technology to fix it. Plus you just broke a phone straight up for no reason.

"Well I set it on fire!" That's insanely dangerous and you should be arrested.
