Do they really think seeing money, then being disappointed that it's not a real 1 William dollar bill, is going to make people want to join their religion? Like oh I'll put a whooping cushion that sounds like a hymm on someone's chair, that'll get em. (I'm not upset it wasn't real money because there was an insane pamphlet nearby it)

The thing about these people is, if there's a God, these are probably the last people on earth that he'd want to speak for him.

They always make him sound like the biggest asshole in the universe, as if they're trying to turn people into anti-theists instead of converting them to their religion.

Nah, the whole thing would have to appear legit to be counterfeiting. You can't counterfeit what doesn't exist. Tourist attraction shops tend to sell fake 1,000,000 bills like this, just without the religious junk.

Glad they are using fake currency at least. I remember when they would do it with $100s and shit to make you think you actually found real money.

I feel the same way when I get mail that looks like it has a check in it, only for it to be some fake check advertising for insurance or lending or whatever.

Nah, even without the wall of text on the back, there's the "This note is not legal tender for all debts, public and private" printed on the front

I used to get things like this when i worked as a waitress. I always wanted to go to a church and put one of them in and exchange it for real money, but never got up the nerve to do it.

I actually had someone give me and a few co-workers one of those as a "tip" when working retail, That exact bill

which is doubly hilarious since i am Canadian.. live in Canada and still got a fake american bill given because i guess those religious wackjobs are to lazy to make a Canadian version

The Christians that leave these things are the worst. Especially guys like Kerrigan Skelley going around with a megaphone. Dude doesn't even know the basics of the religion he pretends to know. Clearly you have a different God than John McEntee (Trump aide), who made a video bragging about giving fake money to homeless people

So when a homeless person asks for money, then I give them like a fake $5 bill. So I feel good about myself. They feel good. And then when they go to use it, they get arrested. So Im actually like helping clean up the community, you know, getting them off the street.
