I'd have preferred a post saying the game was in production or something. That told me nothing at all.

It definitely felt like alpha footage that they tossed out there just because it keeps getting leaked so much. Like a "Okay, P4R is real, stop leaking this and let us work on the damn thing."

Very odd as an announcement, but P4 rules, so I trust them to make it great.

for real, it looks suuuper early in development from what was shown in the trailer, like the lighting/shaders don't even look set-up in the part where Yu was running

like at least with the 3 reload trailer, the game didn't look 100% finished/polished, but at least it showcased a lot more of the game rather than... shots of game environments and then Yu running down the shopping districts

Some VAs were discussing how they weren't brought back for the remake before it was officially announced which I imagine forced this announcement.

These showcases are planned weeks in advance, if not months.

Persona has always been well handled for the most part. Persona 3 FES, persona 4 golden, persona 5 and then royal, metaphor refantasio, persona 3 reload. All great and polished etc

i dont think this will be any lower quality than p5, metaphor, p3r etc

I'm not to worried about the quality, it's just a huge nothing of a trailer. A year wasn't even announced, so I'm assuming late '26 as an optimist and '27 as a realist.

Also, it was an odd choice to show it sunny considering how much it rains in the og.

I feel that they was a response to the fact that the game has been getting leaked for pretty mush most of 2025, Like its had a leak every month talking about it so i feel like it was just a "OK FINE, Heres the confirmation" and that the game itself is yes, In an early development stage... I have a feeling we wont get this game until late 2026 or more then likely early to mid 2027

Its a remake of P4. If they changed anything, fans would freak out.
