I've just moved into my first home (bought an apartment/condo) and it's wired for coax.
Our modem supports coax just fine, and is MoCa capable.

Now it seems that 1 coax port in the place works, but the other 2 do not. I have a suspicion that this is a main port/supplementary port issue.

IE the port in the living room is the primary connected port, and the other 2 simply connect to it but not to the main line.

When I set the modem up on that connector it works perfectly, but will not work at all on the other two. I'd really like to set our machines up for hardline (up to 750gbps) instead of wifi (maxing at about 100gbps).

Is a MoCa adapter my only option outside of an electrician? I don't want to spend $100+ if it won't work.
And do I need 2 MoCa boxes, or just 1 since my modem is MoCa capable?
