It's honestly mind blowing that they can produce such graphics. Funny enough though, there are a few frame rate issues.

This was shown during the XBOX showcase and everyone was saying it still didn't look good.

As someone who grew up on Atari and am just not a picky person about graphics it does just kind of blow me away how virtually every studio can make games look so damn good these days. Like even obscure small Indie projects are like "damn that looks really good"

it would look good for a ps4 game. ps5 it's not great looking but isn't bad or anything. like if this was on the switch 2 it would look good for that. which is funny since it's not announced for that.

Wonder how much time this game had to cook compared to the average mainline Pokemon game.

The fact that the games *must* be released in time with the Merch (the latter of which is, as we all know, the primary money maker for them by a long shot) apparently is a big part of the reason why sometimes the games come out half-baked.

No.... everyone was saying "If Game Freak is capable of producing something that looks like this, why the hell does Pokemon look like such a pile of garbage?"

I hope that it does well for them
It's pretty clear that they feel creatively bankrupt, so hopefully they'll have SOMETHING else to do besides make another Pokemon

That was the whole purpose of the Gear Project that they had going on for a while. It was a team that worked on non-Pokemon projects, for devs who felt burned out from working on Pokemon, and for a while, they were even prioritizing the Gear Project over Pokemon.

Through this, we got Tembo the Badass Elephant, Giga Wrecker, and Little Town Hero. But it seems that LTH's lukewarm reception may have nixed Gear, since nothing else from that initiative has come out since. (Beast of Reincarnation is being funded by an outside publisher.)
