YellowSUV 06/20/25 9:16:14 AM #1:	At the end of Mario Odyssey you play as Bowser destroying stuff with Peach tagging along while there is a vocal song in the background. In Donkey Kong Bananza you play as DK destroying stuff with Pauline tagging along while she uses vocal powers. Also, young Pauline in DK Bananza looks suspiciously like the daughter of Mario and Pauline. She is wearing Pauline's dress and Mario's jeans. Maybe Mario and Pauline got together after Peach rejected Mario at the end of Mario Galaxy. This is another Pauline (whether a daughter of the original, or a clone, or a character that just happens to be similar). Time travel is involved. Nintendo doesn't care about the continuity, they just wanted to use Pauline, and wanted her to be a kid, and won't bother with any kind of explanation. The devs probably thought that part was great as well, and took the best parts of that and expanded on it.
