He never really had a main supporter and almost made the top 30; that's pretty solid. I think Wakka's boot history is just a bit of a series of many unfortunate accidents and blunders. ~FIGHT!~ Snowball Blitz #9 - Wakka Ritz disposed of context and setting establishment today - "Well, it's time for us to fight with our balls." she said to the dude who introduced himself as Wakka. "Alright, let's go." he said in an accent that was a bizarre cross between the Bronx and a Pacific Islander. She assumed he liked pineapple on pizza. All of a sudden they were teleported to a giant orb of water which, despite the game canon being that the blitzball players hold their breath, she was able to breathe in. The transition was almost as jarring as when she got transported to Ivalice, the only thing the FFTA dev team pronounced correctly. "This dude would probably pronounce it 'I have lice'." she thought, quietly underwater chuckling to herself. Though blitzball was normally a game about scoring points, she was aware that the present ruleset involved scoring kills, with only one kill required to claim victory. She hoped that she would have more success than the Edmonton Oilers playing in overtime. She pulled her snowballs from places that are legal to think about, and began to throw as Wakka glided around with his measly one ball. She attempted to throw them but they didn't go anywhere because it was regular snow and it was underwater. Wakka did a stylish backflip and jettisoned his ball towards her, but she easily sidestepped it. Ritz realized she had a short window before he could get his ball back, and she did something she didn't think she'd have to do until a later snowball fight. But desperate times called for desperate measures, and she needed to beat Lance Armstro- I mean Wakka in this tense duel. Because she had mastered all Viera job classes, she began to summon Shiva from wherever summons come from. Soon, a pillar of blue and white appeared, engulfing Wakka and his pace in the water began to slow. Ritz shouted "Snowballtima!" which she came up with at a summoning workshop and a barrage of magical snowballs rained down into the waterball, which didn't melt because they were magic and thus defied the laws of all that is good. Wakka was soon frozen, and because he had been holding his breath anyways out of tradition, he succumbed to the blunt force trauma, suffocation, and hypothermia at the same time. What a way to go. Ritz imagined the crowd cheering, but all she got was 12 quietly made bolded votes - a unanimous decision. She was transported back to Smiffficia, which had been previously missing an f in her prior snowball fights, and continued on her journey - having finally reached the realm of needing 5 saves. --- we're all buds~jc~ <DeathChicken> you are my hero for being the first person to cite National Geographic in Mercs ...
