I only have a landline and I can go over a month without getting a single call. Most spam/advertising/scams have all moved over to cellphone users and whatever lists they pull numbers from must not contain landlines.

The guys at work who have cellphones, man the amount of calls and especially texts they get would drive me mad. I hear a ding like legit every minute for this one guy and he looks at his phone every single time like a rat hitting that feeder button. I couldn't do it. I'd throw it out the window going down the highway.

It happens in waves for me. I'll go weeks or months without a single spam call. Then literally out of nowhere, 3-4 spam calls a day. Right I'm getting 3-4 spam voicemails a day now which is extra annoying. I haven't made any changes recently either. And I haven't given my number out recently either. It's the same number I've had for 16 years now. It just always comes in waves.
