They're just cosmetic, and if people want to buy flashy skins that make them way easier for me to spot and shoot, then they can "pay to lose" all they want. I get why it bothers people, but as long as the game is fun, I didn't care about them. The thing is, the game isn't fun anymore. The game balance is crap, the map design is crap, the post-launch support is crap, the games are full of bugs and glitches that take months to fix and sometimes even come back again later, and the matchmaking is one big algorithm that decides when you have a good game to keep you playing and when you're the victim for someone else's good game. But the shop always works! That's the one thing they make sure always works. They're clearly putting way more effort into these store bundles than they are into making the game itself fun to play. I didn't buy BO6 (only tried it through Game Pass and quit after a few weeks) and I'm not gonna even bother with the upcoming game even for free. Dakimakura posted... I actually really liked that Mario Kart World decided to add Mario only characters. People complained about that decision, but I love the Mario series and appreciate Swoop in my Mario game over Garfield. Crossovers can be fun, but a series needs to stand on its own to some degree.
