i finished the mainline games. now im onto the side stories. i just finished the 3 tactics games so now i need to pick the next side game to get to ill do the direct sequels after i finish the side games so thats also when ill do crisis core and dirge of cerberus --- yusketeer ... Legends isn't part of Final Fantasy. It's SaGa renamed to increase sales. Honestly i have a hard time recommending any of those. Ive played a demo of Dimensions, and it is just a retread of Ff5 but uglier. Type 0 is pretty bad from what I hear. Do you have the ability to play Strangers of Paradise, or Theatrerhythm? theatrerhythm is good. But I doubt it's usually called by it's full title anymore. I.... guess Either way, that's my pick. I love replaying FF Adventure every once in a while. :) But I like every game on your list. Adventure. Possibly the best Gameboy game ever. yusiko posted... adventure also isnt part of the FF franchise. its the first mana game Specifically North America - FFA didn't have the "Final Fantasy" name tacked onto it in Europe, where it was released as "Mystic Quest", while FF:MQ was released as "Mystic Quest Legend" (and FFL/SaGa wasn't released in Europe at all). Presumably this is because the mainline FF games didn't appear in Europe until FF7 - Square and/or Nintendo seemingly decided we just didn't like RPGs. --- Re-open board 261. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Type 0 is ok but it has some issues. Its hard to distinguish character because everyone wears School uniforms and no one is the clear main charcter. The over world works a bit like Ogre Battle but not as good. It's otherwise a decent game. It's barely a FF game. --- All the iron turn to rust. All the proud men turn to dust. As Relm brought up it was Final Fantasy Gaiden in Japan, so the rename to Final Fantasy Adventure here isn't a relevant one: Mana is 100% a Final Fantasy spin-off at that point in the timeline period.
