I had a simliar thing happen to me. My blood pressure was higher than it should be. Each time they were just like, "Be Healthier!" This went on for years. My current PCP prescribed Atenolol and it helped my blood pressure. And it's cheap. Just ask them to prescribe Atenolol and see if they do it. --- There are a ton of misconceptions about recycling. Back in March I had bad tendonitis in my shoulder and got denied care at an emergency clinic because my blood pressure was 233 over 145. Damn I came out of hospital last week after passing a kidney stone and had my BP taken every day. Even took blood from me and to top it off I had a catheter put in, thought I was going to have to go home with one but fortunately I was spared from having to have one put in again.
