It was a livestream and I remember an announcement saying something along the lines of "Republicans dont have enough votes left to pass the bill!"

Some number of Republicans said they wouldn't vote for it, but the only time those people stop lying is thirty minutes after they die.

what happens is, votes are cast but they aren't "final"

so just enough time for those 5 NAY votes at one point to be rangled back in, bribed, threated, etc etc and BOOM you wake up to it passing with unanimous support.

Why isn't a vote cast FINAL?

I wonder what happened the one NAY voter who actually ran off so he couldn't be persuaded. Well...they got him, too.

Basically the Republicans who voted no were bribed with free Trump merch and some crypto deposits to change their vote. Yes, that's all it took. Yes, that's absolutely pathetic.

Some probably are, yeah. The people I was referring to very much knew that, though. They just couldn't help themselves and showed their true colors.

Makes me think of that pro-LGBT bill that failed in Florida because it didn't have "vote majority" when it won by more than half but not 60% or more of votes
