Virtually no prehistoric surface level shit is going to survive in the modern world you are wasting time if you bring it back. It will just die because of the atmosphere being completely different than how it used to be. Bring back something a little more recent like the Sea Mink.

*After. It is down from 35% to 21% since Carboniferous.

I just saw Jurassic World Rebirth and according to it, our modern climate and atmosphere is poor conditions for dinosaurs except for the ring around the equator .

Terror birds were around a couple million years ago. I think they'd be fine. You'd have to go waaaay back for the animal to not be able to breathe in 2025.

Breathing aside most of that stuff died because it sucked at Natural Selection. It would continue to suck at natural selection unless kept exclusively in captivity.

It's due to a lot of things. Climate change, competition with other animals back in the day that may be extinct now, natural disasters, and more recently humans.

I really want a pet corvid, but the only species in Hawaii is on the Big Island, and is considered extinct in the wild :<

But there are some prehistoric crows that used to live on Oahu :3

Can I save this for when fireflies inevitably lose their bioluminescence due to light pollution by humans? After all, it would be a damn shame for them to simply become another flying bug.
