darkmaian23 07/18/25 2:34:57 AM #1:	I'm just past the desert town and into the town that's like a maze where you get your third party member. Looking at where I am in a guide, it seems like this is going to be kind of short and I'm not sure what to think about it. I've never played it before, but the PS1 nostalgia is hitting me hard. Battles seem easy with no real depth so far, but I'm a little nervous about so far only being able to save at inns, and I can't tell how much grinding is needed. --- Cuteness is justice! Stuff takes a while to open up, and that puts some people off. My advice would be to try everything, see what you like, and then make goals of things you want to do when you sit down to play. Then when you get sick of one way of playing, you can do something different the next time you play. At least, that helped me! To beat the game, you will actually have to level up every life, and there are progression gates throughout the game, both for continuing in the story and for accessing bonus areas. But in general, you aren't forced to do anything most of the time. After a while, an open world area appears and quite a lot of folks enjoyed that.
