Here's my top-picks of "man's man" video game character husbandos for each generation: 1st: Right Pong-Paddle (Pong) 2nd: Pitfall Harry (Pitfall) 3rd: Solid Snake (Metal Gear) 4th: Joe Musashi (Shinobi) 5th: Gabe Logan (Syphon Filter) 6th: Sam Fisher (Splinter Cell) 7th: Adam Jensen (Deus Ex) 8th: Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher) There are other characters, like Commander Shepard (ME trilogy) but, imo, they are "less certain" picks.
